“I worked closely with Mike Harris, CA and Dr. Lolly de Jonge at Nexen Inc., an independent, global energy company listed on the Toronto and New York stock exchanges. While they were there, Nexen went through an era of noteworthy growth and success that included immense success in Yemen, the acquisition of North Sea assets that added significant value, major oil sands development and positioning early in British Columbia to gain access to a substantial shale gas resource. Throughout this time, Nexen was widely recognized as an international leader in a number of areas including governance, financial reporting and its signature Integrity Program. Both Mike and Lolly played substantive roles in these critical support service achievements.
I was pleased to hear that they have established Crossbow Financial after knowing each other for 20 years, with 15 of those together at Nexen. They offer a unique skill set that integrates high level financial expertise with change management. Mike brings extensive public company and executive management experience including his senior and executive finance roles. His exemplary background is complemented by Lolly’s strength as a change agent with expertise in designing and implementing systems that align corporate culture with strategy. They both have outstanding leadership ability, integrity and people skills. In my view, with Mike and Lolly at the helm, Crossbow offers a wealth of knowledge, commitment and passion that will surely assist their clients in achieving success. I wholeheartedly recommend the services of Crossbow."
