Getting Started
Getting started with Crossbow is easy. Our engagements involve four steps and we work closely with you to make sure that we have a clear commitment and understanding of expectations. Our goal is to “Hit the Mark Every Time”.
1. Ready
To start with, we meet with you to build our understanding of you, your organization, your current challenges and the future state that you are targeting. Generally, this first meeting is informal, giving both you and Crossbow a chance to learn about each other and to decide if we’re a good fit. There is no cost for this initial consultation which typically lasts about an hour.
2. Aim
Once we know where you’re starting from and where you want to be, Crossbow will design and produce a customized service offering. Our aim is to focus on your unique business needs and tailor our services to meet them whether engaging us for a distinct project or retaining us for a short-term or long-term assignment. We then meet with you again, walk through our proposal and set out the scope of our services, timeline and projected fees (disbursements are extra). If your needs change along the way, we will work with you to amend the original plan. Our promise to you is “no surprises”.
3. Fire
After we agree on the game plan, we meet with your key personnel to outline the plan, let them know how it will benefit them, receive any feedback they have, answer any questions and, ultimately, have your team buy-in to the plan. We then roll up our sleeves and get to work. We know that your finance team is a valuable resource that helps your organization not just survive but thrive. We see ourselves as an extension of that team and will harness their knowledge and energy to make sure your goals are accomplished.
4. Hitting the Mark
We will meet with you regularly throughout our engagement to review progress on the game plan and to ensure that you remain satisfied. After the project or engagement is complete, we will sit down with you for a formal review and to capture lessons learned so that your organization can continue to be competitive, accelerate growth and meet the inevitable future shifts in business that your organization will face.
